I have just got home from an event why aren't the images from the event already up on your website?
Unfortunately images from events are not magically uploaded to our websites.
First of all we have got to get home ourselves, sometimes 200+ miles. We then have to go through the lengthy process of sorting the good images from the bad. If we are tagging the images we have to log each runners number against an image, upload the images to our website and then go back into the website and manually add each runners number to each image.
To help you find out when the images are going to be live we normally create a 'dummy' gallery which will have an estimated time that we reckon we can have all the images for an event uploaded.
In the busy months of the year we often have five or six events to cover over a weekend.

I have looked on your website but cannot see the event I am looking for?
We have two websites, one is for sport (www.charleswhittonphotography.com) and the other site (www.charleswhittoneventphotography.com) is for events. There are buttons on each website so that you can link quickly to either one of our sites.

I wish to place an order but I cannot see any prices or options
Select either the image you want or any other image and then scroll down the page and you will see a box labelled "BUY NOW".
Click on that box and all the options and prices for that Gallery will appear. Once you have decided on the option you require, using the drop-down box decide the quantity you want, and then add to cart.
If you now scroll back up the page you will see your shopping cart above the image. Continue selecting images you require and then click on shopping cart to go to check out.
You now have a choice of either checking out through "pay online " or "pay off-line".
Even if you haven't a PayPal account you can still check out through PayPal with a credit or debit card as a 'guest'. If you wish to pay off-line checking out as a guest of PayPal is the quickest way of getting your photos rather than going off-line where we have to e-mail you etc to get your details and payment.

I don't have a PayPal account how can I still order?
As stated above it is possible to pay through PayPal as a "guest" where you can use either a debit or credit card. We also accept "off-line orders". If you wish to check out through the "off-line" option we will e-mail you instructions of how to proceed once we have received your "off-line" order.

I have ordered off-line but have not heard from you?
We e-mail you with instructions on how to order off-line. Firstly check your trash folder to see if our e-mail and automatically been filed there. If there is no sign of e-mail then either e-mail us at charleswhittonphotography@gmail.com or telephone us on (01308) 867563

I have just ordered a digital image but I have not received it yet?
We process and 'tweak' all images before we email them to you.

You have e-mailed my digital images but I cannot see them on my iPhone or iPad?
To find the solution for this problem Google your problem and there are some boxes you need to check on your iPhone or your iPad

I have just ordered digital images - can I use them on Facebook etc?
We have no problem with you using the images you have purchased on Facebook or any other media sites etc. However, we do have a problem with people who steal our images and when we discover these images on people's media sites we report them to the appropriate Webmasters. Facebook especially, is very strict on images that are displayed on their website that show a photographer's copyright on the image. Facebook will remove galleries displaying these images and also persistent offenders have been known to have their Facebook accounts closed!

Personalised images
Please be sure to send us the wording that you require on personalised images. We cannot process your order until we have received this information. Also, please note we have to crop the image in order to get the wording on the photograph or digital image - consequently the finished image is smaller than the size stated.

There is a watermark on the images on the website - will this watermark be on the final product?
No, as we have stated above all images are processed and 'tweaked' before we dispatch them

Can I have a discount on my order?
We offer a small discount for multiple purchases of photographs of the same image. This discount will apply if you order five or more photographs of the same image.

I would like to see a free sample of your work before purchasing?
Unfortunately, due to time restraints etc we do not offer this service

I have just won an event can I have a free image?
We are running a business so it is not feasible to issue free images. Best not to ask as a refusal can hurt! Surely you must be worth at least £3.75!

The image(s) i want to buy have been removed from view - can i still get them?
We keep images on the website for 3 months - after that time they are archived and no longer available to purchase.
We have to do this to keep the cost of our services as reasonable as possible. One cost we have to incur is the charge for webspace and at any one time we can have in excess of 30,000 images on the site!. If we kept the images on there for 6 months that cost would double. Also we have found from experience that by far the majority of orders are placed within the first few weeks of an event!

I have an upcoming event is it possible for you to cover it?
